Cantonape 500W- 1000W(Peak) Car Power Inverter

I was excited to try this Cantonape car power inverter to power my coffee maker on the road, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. Here’s the breakdown:

  • The Good: It actually did run my 1400W coffee pot, which is pretty impressive!
  • The Bad: However, the included alligator clips couldn’t handle the power and started smoking. You’ll definitely need to buy thicker cables separately if you want to use anything close to the advertised 1000W output.
  • The Ugly: The first inverter I received didn’t even turn on, and the second one looked clearly used and damaged. Not a great first impression!

On a positive note, Amazon refunded me for the trouble. But overall, this Cantonape inverter wasn’t the smoothest experience. If you’re looking for a car power inverter, I would recommend checking out some other options that come with high-quality cables or are upfront about their power limitations. Read more…
