I recently tried the PowerDrive PWD750 750 Watt Power Inverter, and I wanted to share my thoughts. It’s a 12v DC to 110v AC car converter. Basically, it lets you use regular household devices in your car. This specific unit, the PowerDrive 750W car inverter, has two USB ports and two AC outlets. I found it useful for charging my laptop and phone on a road trip. The plastics used in the unit feel fairly standard, not super high-quality, but not flimsy either. I was able to easily plug in my devices and get them charged. The power output was sufficient for my needs. However, I noticed that with higher power devices, like a small vacuum, the unit did get a little warm. I haven’t tried to mount it permanently, but it seems like it would be relatively simple. I did see some hooks on it, which I assume are for mounting. The shipping from Amazon.com was fast, which was a plus. I haven’t seen it at Sears, but I bought it online.

My experience with the PowerDrive 750W car inverter was generally positive. I liked the convenience of having AC outlets in my car. It’s a handy tool for anyone who spends a lot of time on the road. I used it to power a small fan, which was helpful on a hot day. The unit’s capability to provide 750 watts of power is decent for most smaller electronics. I think it’s important to remember that it’s a car inverter, so it’s not meant for heavy-duty appliances. I didn’t experience any issues with the unit’s functionality. It did what it was supposed to do. I think if you are careful with what you plug into it, you will have a good experience. I did have to figure out the best place to put the unit in my car, making sure it had airflow. I did not want the head of my unit to overheat.

Overall, I think the PowerDrive 750W car inverter is a good value for the price. It’s a simple and effective way to get AC power in your car. I found it to be a useful addition to my vehicle. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a basic car inverter. I think the two USB ports are a very nice addition. It made charging my phone and tablet easy. I am happy with the power it provided. I think it is important to understand the power limitations of the unit. I would suggest reading the instructions carefully before using it. I felt safe using it.
