I recently bought the Gulfmew 4 Pieces 2 AWG 1 ft Battery Cables. This kit comes with two black and two red cables. They are designed to connect batteries to inverters. Inverters are devices that change the type of electricity from a battery (DC power) to the type of electricity that powers your home (AC power). This is useful when the electricity from the electricity company goes out. You can use the inverter to power things like lights, fans, and even a small television. These cables are very thick and strong. They are made of 2 AWG copper wire, which means they can handle a lot of electricity. This is important because inverters use a lot of power. Each cable also has a 5/16" tinned copper lug on each end. These lugs make it easy to connect the cables to batteries and inverters. I used these cables to connect my car battery to a small inverter.
